The project required the creation of a purpose-built healthcare facility capable of delivering modern medical and surgical services while minimising environmental impact and supporting long-term operational efficiency.

The Outcome

The completed hospital provides patients across Hertfordshire with access to leading healthcare facilities within a sustainable, future-focused environment. The project achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating and received the Green Apple Award for Environmental Best Practice, recognising both its healthcare provision and environmental performance.
