Conlon Construction delivered Woodford Primary School, a purpose-built three-form entry primary school designed to serve the growing Woodford Garden Village community and provide an inspiring environment for learning, development and wellbeing.

Built on behalf of Redrow Homes, the development combines modern teaching facilities, specialist learning environments and extensive outdoor provision to support pupils throughout their primary education journey.

The Challenge

As a key part of a major new residential development, the school needed to provide the capacity, flexibility and facilities required to support both current demand and future growth within the community.

The design also needed to balance robust, practical educational spaces with high-quality architecture and extensive outdoor learning opportunities.
