We are delighted to announce our Bowcliffe Hall project was ‘Highly Commended’ in the ‘Project of the Year’ category at the Constructing Excellence Awards in Yorkshire & Humber.

This is the forth accolade the project has been presented with following two RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) awards and the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) ‘Tourism & Leisure Project of the Year’ award in May

The iconic Blackburn Wing, is an impressive stand-alone structure creating a conference/events centre in a “tree house” style design to replicate the wing of a Blackburn Mercury Monoplane, complete with a copper roof.

Neil Conlon said,

The Blackburn Wing is a truly unique construction project that involved considerable challenges. Our focus on buildability and our collaborative approach to working with the design team, the client and the planners meant that we were able to overcome those challenges and deliver a phased programme on time.

We’re delighted that the scheme has once again been recognised by Constructing Excellence.
