Last weekend saw a number of our Yorkshire 3 Peaks team take on Wansfell Pike in the Lake District overlooking Lake Windermere in the beautiful sunshine. There was a great team effort by all the walkers and Lottie the dog! We are now warmed up and raring to go for our next practice walk booked in May and our penultimate walk in June covering 5 Wainwrights around Helvellyn.
Just a reminder the team will be taking on the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge on 2 July in aid of Emmaus, Preston.
Emmaus provides a home to people who have been homeless or socially excluded. Everyone who lives in the Emmaus community makes a contribution by volunteering full time in our social enterprises including selling furniture and other household goods.
If you haven’t already donated please support us at Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge.
Thanks!
