We attended Armfield Academy on the 11th October to celebrate the official opening of the school, which we handed over in June, 3 months ahead of programme. The school was named after Blackpool and England football legend Jimmy Armfield who unfortunately passed away in 2018.
The celebrations on the day focused on Jimmy’s successes and the positive legacy that his image will give to the school.
