We have just completed works at Rothwell Fire Station in Leeds for West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue.
The £1m development provides a new two-bay operational fire station, including operational accommodation for the fire service personnel and associated vehicles.
Councillor Golton said:
Local people and councillors fought a hard campaign last year to keep the fire station open. This is fantastic news that the facilities in Rothwell are now modernised.
