On Saturday 2nd July our ‘Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge Team’ will take on Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen Y Ghent. A total of 24 miles, 5202 feet in 12 hours. We will be raising money for our main chosen charity this year – Emmaus, Preston (a homelessness charity). Our target is to raise £1 for every 1ft of ascent – a target of £5202! As part of our preparation for the challenge we will be carrying out some training walks which will increase in difficulty in readiness for the big challenge.
